I’m one of those people … I always thought, if it’s reasonable to have a conversation with someone physically there, at a reasonable talking volume, why does it matter if I’m doing the same on my phone?
Obviously if it’s obnoxiously loud that’s a different story
Was really exciting seeing ferrari move up through the field towards the top 3. If that safety car hadn’t been called, ferrari could’ve gone for soft tires and put pressure to get both drivers on the podium
Hopefully ferrari improves on this and keeps the momentum going
That would’ve been a huge risk, earlier this race you saw that the mediums only lasted about 17 laps, and they had almost 24 to go if they chose soft. It’s honestly amazing Russel was able to keep the soft from degrading for the rest of the race, but it was a huge risk and probably a bit of luck. Even Russel said it was ambitious

I mean, does it really matter?
Even if the Democrats are blaming Trump for the shutdown, what do you think would be Trump’s next move after Congress refuses to fund the government?
I’m glad someone is saying this.
While I understand people don’t want to give Trump any wins, choosing the shut the government down is the wrong hill to die on. Given the chaos that DOGE has caused, and the executive branch throwing around their power completely unchecked, shutting down the government would plunge america into chaos.
I wouldn’t be surprised at all if Trump had a plan to frame the government shutdown as “government inefficiency” and use it to grab much more executive power.
I previously had a truck, but had to get rid of it once it started having some engine issues. I lived in the city, so I figured I could make do with a sedan.
Boy do I miss my truck. I never really realized how much I needed it in big-city,USA, but it sure is apparent now. Plenty of times I need to haul something for work, or sometimes pop a curb to set up some tabling stuff, or even just hauling my bike for hitting some trails. My next car is probably going to truck, hopefully something small that is fuel efficient and easy to park. I just don’t want to give up having the convenience of a bed that can haul heavy, messy stuff, it’s too convenient for me
I agree with this sentiment but I don’t see it actually convincing anyone of the dangers of AI. It reminds me a lot of how teachers said that calculators won’t always be available and we need to learn how to do mental math. That didn’t convince anyone then
