Took me about 6 times to get through the first book and I actively recommend this series. It’s too bad how rough it starts because it’s one of my favorite reads of a series.

You’re bastarding the theory (mind you this word matters here) of SDT and trying to use it as some escapist argument for murdering other humans. Crimea was taken by force by Russians. No psychological theory changes that fact. Everything past this point is moot. Russia invaded and 2nd time and aren’t being allowed free reign this time. It has nothing to do with jingoism or theoretical psychological beliefs.

I literally rolled another sorc (original on eternal) just to try these changes out. I had vowed no sorc until more build diversity, but the notes look promising.

Most of them can’t walk a mile much less mount an actual assault. I live in somewhat rural NC and the majority of this vocal minority are out of shape nobodies that live in very strange echo chambers.

Fwiw I went from induction to gas and I hate it. The speed and accuracy of induction vs gas, while also not needing the same level of venting, is just vastly superior. It’s also just safer with kids around. If my kid flipped the induction burner on nothing happens if there’s no metal… where the gas is now a live flame or gas pouring out. Heavily prefer induction, personally.
