I don’t but searching online there’s a couple of YouTube videos. Also there’s a couple recent threads on AV forums talking about the device. Seems like it gets plenty of updates and attention but no I haven’t gotten a solid recommendation yet. I’ll probably give it a shot here in a few months assuming that US store price doesnt go up further
There are a couple of devices, a few months ago during a similar discussion on Lemmy I saved this but doesn’t seem to be many videos or reviews out in the wild
I haven’t dug into their policies or checked network traffic but I have a b0bsweep per hair slam and while I don’t believe it works with HA it maps my main floor and I was able to block it from public egress and put it on my subnet with DNS capture and filtering to a pihole and it has never once complained. Open the app and change a setting or click go and it does it. Haven’t tried adding it to HA yet because of that.

I run unraid on my homelab with 3 VMs and 12 docker containers and having the fewer abstractions the better. I have no complaints with unraid but went with it over TrueNAS since I have mismatched disk sizes.
I also run TrueNAS for my lukewarm backup server for unraid and 1 extra mount and have no complaints but scales’ jails and kubernetes backend for docker seemed not a great fit for what I wanted but I’m sure others love and would prefer that setup.
From other articles online that already have the direct links to the APKs I was just able to download the unlock APK for the zenfone 10 from an asus website.

Kubernetes in any form is overkill for a homelab. Especially since you wouldn’t want to stand up k8s on the synology it means you’re running it on the separate node and still messing about with NFS or specific mounts which just adds complexity.
There should be some troubleshooting you can do, first make sure the GPU is being utilized by plex, check metrics and stability on the NFS mounts to see if there are spikes or if tuning is needed. That setup sounds like it should work and a direct connection between the two hosts would be even better.
Though I would recommend going back to basics and just plex docker container directly on synology.

My thinking is the same, I see lots of k8s mentions on here and from coworkers at home and all I use is docker and VMs because I don’t want all that complexity I have to deal with at work.
A cloudflare tunnel would be good enough but a VPN would probably be a better idea.
Much less intensive than an elasticsearch anything. I have Loki, grafana and 3 promtail clients running for my env (switched from Graylog/elasticsearch) and over the last few days Loki is sitting at 3GB memory and 8% CPU processing logs for about 6 devices.
Just my 2 cents, I’m still using my unlocked S20 FE and have no such apps installed. Could most likely be from a carrier device and their subsidies of getting you the phone.

Blu ray discs specifically hold so much data when you have a 4k blu ray and the devices to play it it is NOTICEABLY better than every streaming site besides Netflix, probably on par.
I believe asus has increased that starting with this phone, reviews online say 2 major android versions and I thought it was 3 years of security updates but androidauthority says 4 years
Excited and thinking about ordering this probably mid September it looks like, once it’s out. Zenfone 9 didn’t seem to fully support all Tmobile bands or features so hopefully that isn’t the case for the 10.
Them missing out on a dozen sales because of that isn’t going to change their ways either.
