@ptc075 @MysticKetchup i think some of the power level feeling with mana drain is price memory from when it was a real baller card.
But it is very strong.
And their comments on it being a mid/late card is just so wrong. T2 Drain into T3 Zendikar Resurgent is the type of play that gives tables serious problems.

@Fluid @Brage Deckbox was fine, but web tech has moved on. I enjoyed doing trades on it. 60 trades/sales back in 2014/2015.
But then Pucatrade showed that site credit balance trading was viable, and after they imploded CardSphere replaced them and is excellent.
It is a bit kludgy if you don’t want to use it for facilitating trades on platform, and requires good discipline if doing a mix of at event and onsite trading, but it is an excellent site.

@Evu Cryptic’s problem is things like, which modes are targeted and which aren’t.
@Evu Most instants and sorceries get away with it. Particularly any that do one simple thing:
* Lightning bolt
* Wrath of God
* Rampant Growth (although is it basic or a basic type, is it tapped question abound)
etc.
Cryptic Command was a terrible choice.
Permanents with relevant text in play aren’t good options. And those can just be done with minimal text boxes, those look good.

@Evu Oh, you may not be able to attach a screenshot, which is why it makes sense for attached images to not federate: Lemmy can’t do images in posts.
@rubythulhu @kajib it’s very hard to control your play group when that includes games at a store or CommandFest. A large part of magic being fun is playing against strangers.
I think more people complain about UB than really cared deeply about the flavour of things, but UB is also tied to other trends in MtG that have been increasing, like the number of cards printed each year.
