Here in Sweden the limit is at 0,2 ‰ which I believe is equivalent to 0,02 BAC. So 0,08 BAC is really high IMO.

The limit for a serious violation is 1 ‰

The punishment for a normal violation is a fine or up to 6 months in prison. The punishment for a serious violation is up to 2 years in prison. Apparently if you go above 1,5 ‰ you are quite unlikely to get any other punishment than prison, so community service or similar is out.

If you are found guilty they generally take your driving licence a As well and you are not allowed to get a new one for a minimum of 1 month or a maximum of 3 years (minimum 1 year for serious violation)

  • This entire argument is obviously ridiculous from both sides but the main difference between the metric system and the Imperial system in this context is that almost everyone uses the metric system while pretty much only the USA uses the Imperial system.

So the Imperial system can be blamed for any faults of the USA. But the opposite is ridiculous since that’s the standard. That would be like blaming Hitler on legs.

And yes again, it’s incredibly ridiculous to blame anything on a system of measurement but if you are gonna do it the Imperial system makes way more sense to blame.

I just discovered something that VLC REALLY didn’t like to play. A 4K50fps JPEG2000 YUV444 12bit lossless ~48 GB video that was only 1 minute long.

To be fair the bitrate of the video is insane at ~5700 Mbit/s. The bitrate is so insane that you should really consider using an NVME drive for playback.

MPC-HC could kinda play it but only with extreme stutter and lag. My CPU (Ryzen 9 5900x) was completely maxed out.

I think you need hardware acceleration for a video like this.
