Scientology infiltrated the IRS and has people kidnapped in known locations, and still gets nonprofit status.
Many hospitals pay their gains as salaries instead of stock dividends to get the nonprofit designation. Each $40 single-serve aspirine a patient can’t pay for becomes a tax write-off. Any mediocre accountant could make any lucrative hospital look like a nonprofit.
There’s a church near me that rents out rooms and sells food all tax free. Just a hotel that put up a cross to boost their margins 5x.

This is from the “saved” bookmarks in the Google app.
This is not referring to actually removing a video from YouTube. If it was, removing the link from the “saved links” would be unnecessary because the video wouldn’t be there anymore anyway.

51·2 years agoI’ve never in my life heard of this happening, it feels like one of those things people make up in their heads to preemptively get offended.
6·2 years agoSure, but the main reason they didn’t care is because they were immediately selling the debt to a pension fund.
When the owner defaults, the bank doesn’t even own it anymore, and someone else finds their pension is suddenly underfunded.
