I get that. Current humidity is 77%. It’s always brutal.

That’s how I took it. It’s so powerful it insta-killls, then by default everyone within earshot thinks about what was said and needs to save else they also take the depressive damage
True. I believe you can accomplish the same effect if you’re able to use long curtains to “room off” your sleeping area. I guess it depends on what your living situation is obviously if that’s feasible.

Exactly. In my city the lowest “high” we have from Sunday to Friday is 99. I’m not looking forward to it.
I love that I can do that.
For anyone else though, sleep hygiene is a big thing. The thought being that there shouldn’t be anything with a screen in your bedroom (tv, tablet, etc) and you shouldn’t do anything in the bedroom besides sleep and fuck (and dress as well obviously). I removed screens 4 years ago and it’s so much easier to fall asleep.
If I have to interact with my phone at any point while I’m driving I’m leaving that service.
I’m usually not a hatch fan but that little car looked awesome. I got my last new gas powered manual transmission car before EVs are the main thing. Since I work from home and don’t drive a bunch my plan is to keep it as long as I can and get an EV in 4-5 years when hopefully infrastructure catches up a bit and more manufacturers have an option and work out small kinks.
I wish we got the Honda E. Would buy that up in a heartbeat.
Oh I’m aware they’re dying in America. I just wanted to see what small car was defined as because unless you get the Miata (which is one of the lightest cars out there) you’re getting up in the weight. Hell, I have a GR86 and it’s supposed to be a lightweight and great handling sports car and it’s 2800lbs empty.
With safety regulations, I thought smaller cars are around 2800-3000lbs now. A 7 year old (2016) Mazda 3 (compact car) is showing as 2900lbs. When you say small are you talking like the sub compact cars? Just trying to get an idea of what small means in this instance.
Yeah, end of the year. Link to a lemmy world post
Nice, I heard they need to be magnetic and the easy test is to use a magnet (naturally). I know my stainless isn’t magnetic so I haven’t tried to use that. I’ll look into these, thanks!
Are they induction compatible? I’d love to get something like that that’s induction compatible.
Reminds me of the old school Backes deal that the Blues didn’t sign
Using a Forbes article to support your argument when we’re already arguing over a different Forbes article feels like it might be a biased source
Yup, productivity went up but paying money on a multi year lease is costing them so they want to justify paying the money. It’s stupid
Examples of them helping people? Or are you asking them to site sources on them not helping people? Genuine question, your comment can be read both ways
That’s what I would go for then, yeah.
Yeah, I guess the question was more of if you’re going to have a lot of media on the drives and you’re on a budget. If that was the case it could be a reason to go more storage vs SSD only. If it’s gaming then I’d take the SSD to store more games on the faster drive.
Apple car play would be a bitch if I don’t have a port since it doesn’t have wireless carplay. And my car is a 2023
