I’m trying to selfhost some Lemmy communities just for fun :)
Buddhist, researcher, FOSS, Linux, selfhosting enthusiast, plantbased, anarchism and MLM interested.
Trying to be nice. I really dislike the Reddit style aggressive comments. If you are rude I will block and ban you.

It’s def on par with Apple
Joplin is awesome on iPhone and Linux but I hate that there isn’t any graphs for note links. It’s super easy to setup and sync though!
Definitely more at lower. I see zero point in going above 1080p and for lesser media I do 720. I have 16tb of 720-1080 stuff.
No way to help with zero information. What’s your degree? What country?
Ticktick and obsidian. Ticktick is an awesome to do, habit, and calendar app with nothing like it. Obsidian is the best note taking app.
Definitely and sadly not better than Obsidian. Also it can’t sync and it stinks for that
Deepseek doesn’t seem to have a limit in my experience. In my experience it’s also way smarter! You can also just download it and run it
What does that mean? Like there is one calendar app?
I wasn’t being rude, genuinely asking! :)
I also don’t know and see some people use it.
I wonder if having a terminal keyboard thing plugged it counts as non headless
Thanks for sharing your thoughts. That’s the only video example I could think of too
How hot is your home?
Feels like saying I drive a car with wheels, the alternative is possible but no one does that.
Ran Ubuntu and Ubuntu server first then switched to desktop fedora and liked it so I switched all my servers to fedora. Tried TrueNas Scale in the past and disliked it except for SMB shares. Also have an unraid server but hate it.
I guess I’m pretty superficial about just liking the base fedora DE. Idk beyond that.
Honest question, why add headless? Who used a server with a gui?
Turn off downvotes for yourself. Much better experience. I never know unless someone is rude then I block them.
I feel like it’s not even jailbroken after doing it. It’s just a layer on top of the kindle OS. And it’s barely better if at all….
