I have the Keychron Q1, which is 75%, hot swappable, and SOLID. Price is really good too, and it’s QMK.

There’s an option to automatically shutdown when battery drops to X%
Where do I find it? I’ve gone all through the settings and the developer settings, is it in desktop mode?
I don’t think he was saying that he thought System76 abandoned Pop. I think he was saying he was running Pop on a System76 laptop, and the laptop gave up the ghost.
Ecobee hits all the wickets you’re looking for. Local control through homekit, cloud based as well, and simple enough for my wife (the non-techy) to figure out.
Without the extension tube, I could roast 4 oz at a time. With the extension tube, I can do up to 8 oz at a time. However, I’ve found 7 oz or less leads to a more uniform roast.
I prefer Lollypop for music, but can completely agree with 0 AD. I’m amazed that is FOSS.
I have the SR-500 with the extension tube, and I wouldn’t even consider a Fresh Roast roaster without it. I got my extension tube 2 years after I bought it, and the uniformity of roasts has improved dramatically.
As for beans, I’ve used Coffee Bean Corral, Blue Mackaw Coffee Roasters (they sell on eBay), Home Roast Coffee, Sweet Maria’s and Amazon.
I’ve just started using Black Box and I really like it.
Fucking nosy ass neighbors, man.
I think this is the root cause. Anecdotal evidence to support:
I’m white, my parents are white, and they lived in a posh neighborhood outside DC. For 3 years, Dad was working/living in England, so my sister and I would check on the house and/or I would go up to DC for a long weekend (I was living in NC at the time).
I arrived on a Friday night, unloaded the car, and was cracking open a beer to relax… And there was a ring of the doorbell. It was the cops. They said a concerned neighbor called, I told them my parents were currently living in England and came up for the weekend. I ended up digging through paperwork of my Mom’s looking for something tying me to the address. While the cops were waiting, they saw multiple pictures of me and my sister hanging on the wall. They said “this will suffice. Enjoy your weekend.”
The neighbor apologized the next day and asked if I had bought a new car.
My sentiments exactly!
Some tips I’ve found for a successful launch with my Ooni… Immediately before launch, give the peel a little shake (horizontally, not vertically) to see if it slides. If it doesn’t, lightly lift up the corner of where it’s sticking, toss in a pinch of flour and try again. You can also blow under the corner, which will spread out the flour as well.
Mine aren’t perfectly round, but they’re getting better. And if true disaster strikes, fold it in half and tell the folks eating it you MEANT to try making calzones this time around…
My home server is running OMV (which is really just Debian with a web GUI), and all the services (outside of SMB/Wireguard) are running in Docker containers. I used to like to tinker, but as my server got more mature, I just wanted it to work. If OMV went away tomorrow, I would pivot to Debian because of its stability.
Laptop/desktop are running Pop_OS! Like the relative stability, but the frequent updating of the kernel for hardware support.
