Yeah. My buddy lived with his SO. They had kids together. I believe they did have plans to get married but there were financial/planning considerations. At the time, the house was in his name.
He died unexpectedly and without warning due to a previously unknown medical condition. I don’t believe he had a W&T.
The paperwork she had to deal with - much of which would have been not required had they been married - was horrendous, especially anything bank related. The bank also seemed to be doing their best to fuck her over in regards to the family home. It was a nasty ordeal.
That one is for the buttcrack of any co-worker found bending over too far.
I recall reading a post on Reddit where somebody was able to have two people playing from a single machine with dual video cards dedicated to VMs.
Wonder how well this might work for AI stuff… Dedicate GPU segments to processing on stuff VMs
No need to eat the rich if they end up eating each other
Yup. Just waiting for a little while from now when Trump starts deporting Ukranians to Russia because “well the place they came from doesn’t exist it’s Russian now”
I’m just wanting somebody to post a link on how to make that costume. It’s awesome
Yeah. Positive reinforcement works across a lot of species… Just because the OP is used to using it with canines first doesn’t make it bad to use on humans We could all use a little pick-up sometimes, just doing fine the M&M’s to rover and a milk bone to the partner by mistake.
I kinda wonder about this in regards to the weird way these people structure their money/finances against their wealth. While I’m sure Elon’s bank account shows not figures then mine ever will, it’s my understanding is a lot of the “wealth” is tied up in assets like stock etc, and they then borrow against the stock for actual liquid cash-flow, such Elon did in order to buy X.
So my hope is still that at some point, Tesla takes enough of a dive that the bank makes a call and if he doesn’t have enough liquid capital to pay back the loans he might get outsted. Having Tesla survive sans-Elon would be great IMO
Yeah, I was thinking the same. It’s basically a visible representation of somebody’s thought process. It may indicate something important to them, something they’re passionate about, or just a point decision without due consideration for consequences.
People get tattoos that are extremely artistic and represent a significant investment in both time and money. Many get tattoos about something they have a passion for. Some to honor deceased loved ones. Some to represent their culture.
Others get a facial tat with prison symbols or to make themselves look like a lizard/devil, which I can only describe as a “look-at-me” tattoo. That may not be the type of personality you want working for you or even to hang out with.
Others it’s a “hey we were drinking and just got this cool new tattoo gun” or “I wanted ink but didn’t bother to research local artists or pay for someone that does good work or can spell” …
Well, in Canada they got caught faking last-minute sales for EV rebates, which might trigger closer scrutiny in other places as well
It’s possible he can be both. Given the current administration it’s even likely
My thought as well. It’s not “won’t return him”, it’s “can’t”. Poor guy is probably already dead, and they won’t return the body claiming “an unfortunate accident” because he’s either cremated or showing signs of torture
I’d imagine that they good l could also be converted into decent power banks for homes during outages
With the “not for resale” stamp clearly shown to boot.
That and/or a big influx of vulnerable unpatched Windows machines…
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, this feels like a good place for Hydrogen power to step in.
One of the oft repeated concerns is that generating hydrogen to power vehicles the takes a lot of energy, which often comes from dirty sources.
One of the oft repeated issues for solar (or wind etc) is that it’s available at certain times and not in and of itself storable or transportable, so excess is lost.
So, take the excess solar energy, produce hydrogen and store for off-peak times or to distribute.
Seems like a win to me.
Try a Pixel rather than a Samsung. Despite being from Google (whose main schtick is advertising) it’s a pretty clean experience, while my family members’ Samsung and LG (who have since exited the market) devices have pre-installed, unremovable apps, stupidly hard-coded configs and - esp in the case of Samsung - often seem add new bullshit in after updates.
Samsung in particular pisses me off given how they charge a premium for devices that are full of intrusive bullshit.
Mine, no, but I definitely know people who went from very happy with their lives to deep depression in a shorter period then that.
That doesn’t necessarily equal suicidal tendencies in all cases but there’s certainly common ground been the two.
