After reading this comment I went to that training place for the first time! 😅 Yeah, that makes it easier, and it’s not too expensive to level them up to a decent level.
Oh, and I pre-ordered a Switch 2 from a big retailer, but I’m still expecting not to get it June 5 for some random reason 😅 (Nintendo, the retailer, the mail…) They can’t disappoint you if you’re expecting to be disappointed!
Like last week, I’m playing Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity. I don’t know how far into the story I am, but…
The calamity has already appeared.
I’ve been doing the shorter missions at times, like sit down for 15 minutes and do a few of those and trying to get more stuff. It’s hard not to always play with Link, but I’ve had fun with other characters too. And if you don’t level them up, then Link is overpowered in comparison. Has anyone else played the DLC? It looks cool, but I wonder if it’s worth it? The gameplay is fun, but the story caught me as this is a BotW prequel. I’m thinking of going back to BotW, then I can play the enhanced version when I get a Switch 2 and notice the improvements much better, since I haven’t played in so long now.
Yeah, they’re “The History Of Nintendo” (4 volumes) by Florent Gorges, Isao Yamazaki. There’s also the biography of Gunpei Yokoi, but not sure how easy that one is to get.
Yes, it’s pretty interesting, but in my case I’d prefer reading the books they mention in the video to learn about this kind of stuff.
It is fun though 😆 It has more story than BotW which is entertaining at times. And it’s not too stressful and fun to progress and get more powerful characters and weapons and such.
I went into it thinking “I’m definitely not going to 100% it”. But while playing, it kind of encourages you to do all the side stuff, level up and get the not completely necessary but nice to have things 😅 I think it has no chance if I don’t finish it before getting Mario Kart World 👀
There are some from my collection on every list.
Interesting to see DOOM Eternal on the list with issues planned to be addressed by launch. I don’t know if by just playing it on the Switch 2 the load times would see improvements, but it’d be nice to also get some graphic/performance bumps there 😬
Street of Rage 4 is so good! I finished it a bunch of times and still find it fun to play. Last week we did a run online with my cousin, we got up to the last boss and didn’t finish it, but we’ll pick up where we left off next time.
I’ve been playing Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity. I had started it way back when it came out, but started a new save file. I’m hyped about Age of Imprisonment, it’ll hopefully look great and have no performance issues on the Switch 2. Not sure if I’m going to finish it, I finished the first one on Wii U and then the Definitive Edition on Switch (the adventure and other things, too much content to 100%!). I’m enjoying it, but mostly thinking how good it’d be on better hardware 😅
It would still need a proper graphics revamp. It does not look good on the Switch 😬 In one of the videos for Switch 2 they showed loading times for Zelda were much faster. That would really help here if it applies to all games, but the game would still feel subpar.
I’d get this again if they made a good port for Nintendo Switch 2 (and on a physical cart, not digital key card bs). The Nintendo Switch version runs like hot garbage.
It’s been a total shit show for quite some time now…
I think it’ll definitely pass the DS, not sure about the PS2 though… 🤔
I was hoping for a physical release, I’ll definitely get it now 😁
I’d get this day one if it was the whole game in a cartridge, instead of the stupid game-key card 😠
That’s cool! And it gets cooler when you get a Skell!
I haven’t played the Making of Karateka. I think I’d really enjoy it too, but I decided I had to miss at least one (I can’t afford all the games I want to play both in money and time 😄).
How are you enjoying Xenoblades Chronicles X? I thought of getting it, but I played it on the Wii U, and I have too many good Switch games to play, so I didn’t double dip.
I’ve been playing Star Overdrive, which I talked about here. I need to get back to Llamasoft: The Jeff Minter Story and eventually start Tetris Forever. I got the physical version, but I know once I start it, it’ll be the only game I play for a while 😅 I love the Digital Eclipse interactive documentary format!
I played a bit of The Mortuary Assistant recently. It’s scary but quite clunky and sort of boring in parts. I’ll give it another chance soon, potentially this weekend.
Hahaha, Age of Imprisonment is what got me back into this! Need to clear out that backlog before the new Switch 2 titles start coming out 😄
