I just like to not be reminded of the creepy guy in a friend’s circle that everyone kind of pities so they don’t chase them off for fear of being mean. But then that guy gets progressively more gropey when he gives a hug, starts making more comments about everyone woman’s body in the group. And hangs around encouraging women to drink to excess around him.

Tldr: I like to like the main character.

Holy shit. He gets weirder? He’s such a neckbeard in the first few that I stopped at like book 4. Maybe 3. I don’t even remember. To be worse, he must start complementing their feet in public or some shit.

I didn’t even mind the writing. I read the first three or four. I could even get past some of the cliche shit like electronics breaking because he’s a wizard harry. But he is such a m’lady neckbeard that I just gave up.

Last I checked, Trump is still sadly winning. I think he just seems himself in Desantis. And he knows he wouldn’t pardon Desantis so he doubts Desantis would pardon him. And also that Desantis could eat some portion of his vote.

I mean, you’ve seen her, right? Doesn’t she just look guilty for some reason?

Honestly the world was a different place with during Clinton’s time. Hell, I think both Georgia and Alabama had democrat governors at the time. I’m half convinced microplastics are as bad as lead and have just fucked our brains up en masse. I’m just hoping if I get dumb enough maybe I can be as happy as my cats.

This is tankie garbage. Syngman Rhee was certainly horrible. But he was not instated. He was voted in. He had a very long history of being in Korean politics. He was certainly given a boost by the Americans. But he was also given a boost by Kim refusing to participate in the elections.

And let us not pretend that the soviets and Chinese involved were just liberators. They had their own political games they were playing and boosted Kim just as much. The elections in the north were completely controlled by the soviets. And you gripe about the presence of American troops, but support the Chinese troops in the north.

The north didn’t invade for fun. The north invaded because Kim thought he could have even more power and that the US would not intervene. He was wrong. He would have been completely removed had it not been for the Chinese.

Both sides had imperialistic outside support from corrupt governments. Both sides used totalitarianism to maintain control. One side is currently the most inhumane country on the planet and the other has a modern standard of living. To say the south was worse in a very short time period is ridiculous. In reality, due to the harsh restrictions and cult of personality in the north we do not even really know how bad the north was. The standard of living may have been better, but concerning totalitarian governments it is impossible to say.

You’re fucking kidding right? Spanish is the second most spoken language in the US. It is the second largest first language as well. It is the second largest monolingual language.

I’m all for multiculturalism. I’m an immigrant. But let us not live in a pretend world.

So you’d be cool with people doing this in Spanish on Texas and Florida beaches right? And I mean people should definitely never travel to a foreign place without a decent grasp of the local language. Not like world exploration is something that can be a life altering experience. Or could help people empathize with different types of culture. Nope. Everyone should stay in their own little bubble. And honestly that applies to states, districts, etc. Hell even towns. Because Alabama and California are super different and have different customs. But even Houston and Austin Texas are way too different to go into each other’s areas without having a firm grasp on local customs. Barcelona and Aragon are so very different that many of them don’t even speak the same language. One of my neighbors and I don’t get along real well. Perhaps we should really only stay in our houses.

I just think about their how bigotry has taken the joy of rainbows away from them.

I mean, I don’t play pachinko, but I think it’d be more fun if the balls had the birds on them and you knocked some piggies down as you bounced down the machine or at least knocked them down at the bottom depending on where you landed.

Switch has been out a lot longer and has a bigger company behind it. I don’t think anyone ever expected SD to catch up in sales. However, the SD has clearly had an impact on the handheld market. And without tinkering, it functions way more like a console than a full PC.

And I don’t know what setup you used for switch emulation, but I’ve emulated several switch games with perfect success. I certainly mostly play my switch games on switch, but I’ve put a handful on the deck for travel and it’s been great. Along with my 3ds games since my actual 3ds went to electronics heaven.

I love crosscode. Although I’d say it is more of an action rpg than a jrpg. The combat system is real time hack and slash with only a select set of special abilities you unlock as you play.

Still, the other elements are very jrpg-ish. Loads of people, items, and exploration. And lots of talking.

Addiction has a very specific clinical meaning as is stated in the article. Porn usage doesn’t fit that meaning. That isn’t to say that someone cannot compulsively masturbate or watch porn. But, again as stated in the article and a lot of other literature, it doesn’t have the same physiological or psychological effects as an addiction. And most of the people doing something compulsively like that are doing it as a symptom of an underlying problem (likely depression in many cases), not as the cause of the problem itself.

In other words, crack and Xanax create a problem. Porn can be used in response to certain psychological problems.

I’d bet money that the next one has backwards compatibility. Afaik Nintendo has never made a handheld that didnt get at least one generation of backwards compatibility. Gameboy had several devices with backwards compatibility. Then the GBA had DS backwards compatibility for it. DS had 3ds. I suppose the 3DS didn’t if you view it as its own thing rather than the upgrade to the DS. Also I’m ignoring the single game devices and the tiny pokemon thing.

I could see them at some point trying to separate handheld and console again just because handheld has been their safety market while they experiment with console. But I doubt now is the moment they do that. And I’m not sure how they do it. Maybe release the switch 2 then after a bit release a console that fits its own niche the way the Wii did (it was great for groups and feeling generally more physically interactive)? But what is that niche that a switch 2 doesn’t also fill? Maybe something like the vita tv device? Budget non portable model. Or maybe a console that does a better version of the GameCube 3ds combo. It has more power and its own games, but also acts as a dock that can play switch and switch 2 games if you dock one in it. I dunno.

That being said, Nintendo has no debt and a ton of cash on hand. They can fuck around and not find out for like 30 years.
