<unwarranted rage No way…

This is the wildest syntax I’ve ever seen! At first, I thought it was unparsable nonsense. Then I realized that your tags are capital-letter-terminated. Is this from a language I don’t know or have you unwittingly cooked up a piece of a cursed programming language? If the latter, I propose Slorp as its name.
For any other steam deck players, I had luck getting rid of the audio stuttering by changing the audio options to “display speakers” and “stereo.”
Apparently an unpopular opinion, but I think part 2 is one of the most compelling and thoughtful examinations of the cost of violence ever made. To be clear, around the halfway point, I wanted to throw the controller across the room, but I came back to it the next day. It had to grow on me, but i think it’s a fucking masterpiece.
I keep a pregenerated list of on-theme names and just cross them off as they get used. It’s the perfect crime.
I’ve used them for years with literally zero issues. Performance a for a cheap VPS. And since all the real work happens on my machines, if they enshittify, I can easily move elsewhere.
That sounds super cool. Hugo is really nice for simple sites. Once you get your template set, it’s all just markdown.
Also, OLPC… That sure takes me back.
In keeping with the counterculture vibe, this would make an excellent zine.
What a dumb shit. At my school, it was well-known that international students were essentially subsidizing the domestic students and scholarship funds because they paid higher tuition without the benefit of student aid.
$20 camp shower and a storage bin solves the mank, but I burn easy, so its a yes and situation for me. :)
I’m literally taking a break from the sun, packing out from a regional burn at this very moment. So many incredible stories and incredible people. Lots of cool, kind people who are just excited to share something they’re excited about with others (especially at smaller events/regionals).
My hard earned wisdom is that you are not an audience member at a burn- you’re a participant, an integral part of the experience for everyone else, so don’t be afraid to talk to folks and to join in on whatever shenanigans are going down. Also, bring more sunscreen than you think you’ll need and apply it more often than you think you should.
If only we had received a large influx of socialists and anarchists. <sigh>
Make use of the block function. Lemmy makes it super easy to block assholes and it just makes life more pleasant. In ~2 years, I’ve amassed a block list of 39 users. It turns out that the vast majority of shittiness comes from a very small number of people.
I feel like this might be OS/window-manager dependent. There may be a click to focus setting.
Does the same happen if you alt-tab or click on the title bar instead of within the editor?
Better get while the gettin’s good on that one though. Even if the price stays the same, the value of that free admission appears to be set to diminish rapidly.
With respect, this is a short-sighted take. There’s literally no legitimate crime that is made worse because a person tried to avoid it being detected. Plot a murder over tor? Not a good look. But in what universe is someone less morally culpable because they just posted on craigslist?
On the other hand, allowing the use of encryption or other privacy methods to affect the criminality or punishment assigned to an action just creates a backdoor to criminalizing privacy itself. Allowing that serves no real purpose in deterring folks from hurting others, but it sure does further the interests of an oppressive or authoritarian regime.
I mean, there’s at least two other ways.
