I just watched episode two and I’m less optimistic than before. While it’s still better than season one, they’re combining too many storylines which makes it chaotic. Right now I’m thinking that they should never have made the show. The story is too large and complex too catch within a tv-series. Even though I enjoy watching the books come to life.
I watched episode 1. I thought it was better than the first season. Some better visuals and the pacing wasn’t as fast. It felt a bit more in line with the books on that front. So I hope that trend continues, because the pacing in the first season was terrible. It’s quality still doesn’t come anywhere close to the books though.
Edit: also the storyline of Nyneave is better than the first season, more in line with the books so far.
And the show gave more background information, so that’s good for people who haven’t read the books. But I still can’t really get over some storyline changes, because I don’t see the necessity.
Flight simming. Started out with a cheap joystick. Now I have an expensive one, throttle quadrants, rudder pedals, a vr headset and I’ve built myself a button box and a flight seat. And I’m now I want a helicopter collective. Oh well…
Holy shit, this guy is something special
Yes and she’s an idiot for doing so. But just because someone else is doing the same thing, doesn’t mean it justifies a response with just as much generalization.
Don’t know what country you live in, but I worked in HR and I would’ve had the company’s ass if they’d tried to fire me because I supported a co-worker. And that’s why this generalization is so sucky. In my opinion generalization is one of mankind’s worst diseases we have. So be terrific and be specific.
Awesome generalization. This is so wholly dependent on the country, company, HR policy and HR person, that it’s a pretty useless statement.
I agree, but when you can throw in a rhyme, you must do it every time.
Oh he definitely did. And he knew it right away
It’s good that they take these things seriously and investigate. I hope for everybody’s sake that there’s nothing going on.
Yeah I agree. And it wouldn’t hurt even the pace of play I think, because either you watch the instant replay or you watch a manager get mad and get tossed for a couple of minutes. Just set some limits on the amount of reviews like they have now.
Lol I wouldn’t want to get in the middle of that either
Sure. Bottom of the 10th with bases loaded for the Royals. They were playing at home, so they are on offense for the second part of the inning meaning they win instantly if they break the tie.
The batter has to be set and facing the pitcher when the timer reaches 8 seconds and then the pitcher has to throw the pitch before the timer runs out. But there is also a disengagement rule: once a pitcher is set, he cannot leave the rubber unless he throws home of attempts a pickoff. If he does disengage it will be called a balk and all runners will be awarded an extra base.
In this case there was an issue with the pitch com. The pitcher shortly lifts his leg to step off, probably thinking a timeout was already granted, but it wasn’t. And at that point that counts as a balk.
I vaguely remember a spring training game where the Red Sox lost because of a pitch timer violation, but I can think of any other
It also really depends where the tumor is located. If its higher up in the colon, then the blood will be darker. But if it’s more to towards the end or the sigmoid it can still be red.
I have IBD and it’s located in the sigmoid. My stool can be pretty damn red sometimes
