ScintillaTE is an old-ass one. Most people have never heard of it, and those that have have only heard of its variant, UniSciTE, which came bundled as the default text editor for Unity, something like 15 years ago.
A lot of legacy equipment still uses 98/XP machines because it literally just needs to work.

Because you cannot be invincible in infosec. To believe to can is to be completely ignorant on how this stuff works. Not every problem can be solved by just throwing money at it.
You want the feds to step up? Do we need to go through the long-ass list of breaches world governments have experienced?
To state “they have a bunch of money therefore they should be impenetrable” is, with all due respect, fucking stupid.

I fell asleep to that by myself.
Getting digital cable in my bedroom as a kid was both a blessing and a curse, and I listened to Michio Kaku a lot. Didn’t understand half of it, but hey, it was cool.
Keep in mind, this was when I was a kid and thought all adults were good people and didn’t understand that Kaku and Tyson were dickheads or that Discovery Science was junk food borderline scifi.
