I honestly laughed when they showed the MC jumping from sky islands exactly like Tears of the Kingdom. It’s definitely giving off the energy of a game that over-promises and will end up with an average 6/10 rating.

My issue with KF2 isn’t the speed, but rather that any player can trigger slow motion. I played with high level players and it was very awkward to go into slow motion every 10 seconds.

Really? I thought the average nightcorer just puts a song on 2x speed and, if they’re feeling fancy, add a loud beat.

Oh boy, unfortunately most Flash games aren’t playable on the web yet, else I’d be name-dropping like 200 games.

Everyone has to play Sonny 2 at some point. It’s a genuine masterpiece of turn based RPGs despite being a 14 year old flash game. The atmosphere is amazing. The music is banging. The build variety is immense.

All the blue elephant games like This is the only level and Achievement Unlocked are also classics. Many of them don’t work on Ruffle yet though.

No-one has to die is a story-driven choose your own adventure that’s surprisingly good.

I could go on and on but for a start you should all try these!

There are a ton of good mobile games but the reason you can’t find them is because 99% of what you see in app stores are paid advertisements. Every section is basically paid, and the few which aren’t get botted by major companies. That app that has 5 million downloads and 4.6 average score? Most likely spammed with bots that give it 5 stars. Google Play is a disaster.

Here are some Android games I would absolutely recommend:

I could go on, but the point is ignore everything you see on the store. The store is garbage. Try to look for games that are well-talked about online.

Edit: Forgot to mention, there’s an app called MiniReview where you can browse game reviews from people who actually care. It’s a good resource if you’re looking for good games.

I’m not sure if you can do this on the app you’re using, but on the website you can click on your profile –> settings –> disable “Show NSFW Content” and hit save.

Use the Ublock Origin extension if you aren’t, I’m getting no popups with that.

Some people want to follow Reddit content without opening it. You can block the bot posting these if it’s annoying. I did that and never saw it again.

Not surprising considering that it runs at 30fps on new gen consoles. I just hope the PC port is decent and doesn’t have any major technical issues…
