China is not without a butt load of economic problems already. We are their biggest trading partner. I agree we, the US, is fucked, but China is about to be as well. There will be no winners here.

A republican guy I used to work with was in huge support for ICE doing sweeps during trump’s first administration. I asked him why he was in support of another armed gov’t group going around cities asking for papers. He made it clear that they weren’t going to go after people like him or me. Even after I pointed out what he was saying, he was OK with it. He was educated too. Just fucking morally awful people.

I enjoy Lemmy for the most part, but this popular narrative that you continue to correctly point out gets so tiring on here. The self-ownership, or self-sabotage by these self-righteous, elementary level critical thinking skills having, non-voters is sickening. If I didn’t vote, I wouldn’t take it as some moral victory against a fucked up system, I’d just accept my apathy.

I have a couple questions:

• How long ago did you move?
• Did you move city to city, village to village, or some combination? Did the place in France and the place in the US have a similar environment?
• A couple things you notice good? A couple bad?
• Any plans of moving back?

And most of the time he even fucks those decisions up.
