  • It’s possible you can get some group therapy sessions for free, they might help. Either way the journey is mostly an internal one, self reflection and development is free. I would advise either looking for resources online, or trying to find self help groups out there where you can more openly talk about your own feelings.

I’m not sure what you are looking for by posting though, is it validation? Help? People offered both of those from what I can see. Unfortunately HRT isn’t a magical fix-all, but it helps as much as it can.

Maybe people can help with your HRT medication if you post some numbers relating to it, I’m not sure how you’re sourcing it right now if you’re low on money but it might help to have some advice there.

I mean facebook marketplace and craigslist you’re just as likely to find furniture that’s already from IKEA or some similar retailer, anything better will likely cost way more unless someone really wants to get rid of it.

Also it should be no surprise that used IKEA furniture will also be way cheaper.

If you’re adamant about that, then I guess this largely depends on where you live. Outside of one lucky find in a furniture charity shop I haven’t had that luxury, not to mention that you don’t get to choose what furniture you’re getting there.

All IKEA furniture I’ve bought has lasted a long time, but the meme is wrong, the reason it even exists is you can’t buy better quality furniture for the same price, at least not by very much, it will cost a lot more if you want amazing quality.

  • Can’t believe you’re being downvoted a lot. Any trans woman person on medication for long enough will just simply not have the muscle mass they had before. It’s basic science.

I mean if people were really that concerned, which I imagine they aren’t and just want to discriminate, you could just ensure they took medication for several years above a certain amount using blood tests. Not sure if they do currently, but they should probably do that for testosterone too.

Then it gets even weirder because sports aren’t defined by gender anymore but by hormones, but maybe that actually makes more sense? As that affects what muscle you can build?
