This weekend I’m going to PAX. Last week I saw Japanese Breakfast. Next week I’m seeing John Oliver do standup. Went to a Mariners game last week too. Got Sounders tix coming up, and hockey starts soon.
Rural is nice for a weekend. Urban is where the action is.
Had a pipe burst in a rental in Seattle. No shut off. I called the city and they came out and installed a shut off the same day.
Give em a call and see if they’ll put one in.

Hell of a goal. Goalie was obviously screened off the initial strike of the ball and couldn’t recover. Course, it always helps when you hit the bar and it goes a foot across the line.
I’m interested in looking at the lineups. So many players were bought that I can’t help but think we’re gonna see some weird lineups.

This whole thing feels like that year or two when Chinese teams were splashing money. I wonder if the Saudis keep it up year after year. If they do, the face of club soccer is about to change forever.
I’ve been on Android since the beginning (and PalmOS and Microsoft phone for the 5 mins when it was pretty good). I’m finally going to Apple. Google is a smoking crater of a disaster of a company, burning itself to cinder in order to wring out a little more earnings for investors because there will never be a good idea in that company again. Just like Facebook. Just like Reddit. Just like Sammy.

One of my kids is playing Joust on the Atari and the other is on the last dungeon in NES Legend of Zelda. They play Grounded on PC together. My daughter is really into Crusader Kings 3. And my son will never stop playing Minecraft with his buddies.

Last year I went from “I just hope it’s not the same 6 teams” to “I hope it’s not literally oil teams and nobody else”. At this point, sure, whatever, even Bayern is an underdog. I think last year vs. City was the first time in my life I rooted for RM and I’m an old man with a grey beard.
This is right. A five year old can’t wipe their nose correctly. They want simple, cute things happening on screen or they’re going to lose interest quick. AC is a great call. My daughter was motivated to learn to read better because she was having trouble understanding what was being said in AC.
