Calling it “nepotism” is really weird. It’s just family lending money to their kids.
Nepotism would be more like your parents owned a second home with renters living there, then you kicked the renters out because of your family connection just to live there rent free.
Agreed. Hopefully that person will be an ex-roommate soon. Signal, Telegram, and even WhatsApp are all good platforms for group chat communication. Duck Instagram and that roommate.
Farmers Insurance is a terrible insurance company. My HOA uses them, and they told us that if we filed another claim, they would drop us. I later found out my girlfriend’s HOA uses them too, and they were told something similar, almost word for word. Apparently, even if they deny a claim, they count it against you.

I left Reddit when they killed RIF. In Lemmy, I wanted something similar and tried Jerboa and Connect. Those apps didn’t really feel like RIF no matter how much I customized it. Sync really is the definitive replacement for the RIF experience. I gotten my version to look and feel like it exactly.
