Those are two different problems.
Years and years of politicians moving the goalposts further right, letting the rich get richer, allowing more money into politics and disenfranching voters is not something you reverse in a single election, and it won’t change until ordinary people get into politics more and at every level.
But if you vote for Trump or abstain from voting, you’re encouraging it.

To be fair, a large majority of Americans didn’t acknowledge the threat until very recently. In general, politicians do not go for bold moves unless they feel they have a large support from the population.
If Democrats had some sort of plan against what’s happening, they would ALL be saying this, over and over, to all journalists in every news organization and podcast.
They should lead the pushback but they look like spectators.

I have one, they are good but you can generally get better quality for less with Dell or Lenovo. Where System 76 shines is its customer support: they are responsive, helpful and knowledgeable. This, plus the fact that popOS is a damn fine Linux distro expressly tuned to their machines, largely makes up for the fact that it might be a bit more expensive than the alternatives. Regarding gaming, I can’t really say… I’ve played a few steam games on it but they’re not the type that require much firepower. Still, no problem there.
It seems that some candidates believe that to win against Trump you have to be dumber than him.
I’ve found that disconnecting helps. Leave your phone at home and go out. Chat with the guy you see every day at the grocery store. Go play chess or pétanque in the park with a friend. You don’t have to do this too often, and you’ll feel less like a product yourself.

It did. White supremacy is alive and well in the US. Yes it always existed, but these days Nazis sympathisers can show their allegiance in public. That wasn’t the case 20-30 years ago.
It’s a great tool to create a first draft of almost any type of text. When writing is part of your job and you’re a slow writer like me, it can save you 15+ hours of work per week. But it’s a first draft, you have to fact check and reformulate quite a bit.
