Really looking forward to this. When I search videos on youtube, I get like 10 videos on the topic, then some videos from a completely unrelated topic and after that only videos from the “home” page. It’s very annoying and I’m really looking forward to turn all of this off.
From a corporate standpoint, you could argue that. From a community standpoint, it’s more about how to combine stuff you already have, get inspiration from others and share good offers.
Really the only thing holding me back is that most games only work on windows, especially indie games. My mouse accel driver too. If it wasn’t for the gaming hobby, I‘d have switched a long time ago.

Those are very valid points, but the complete lack of UI and UX design doesn’t make it the best. Just some basic things will suffice.
That would make the info quickly and easily digestible, even at a glance, for most people on most devices.
I get the point, but I wanted to show that well designed frontends make using the web easier for people with human-tailored designs. Of course, over-the-top artsy visuals, dark patterns, defiant handling of cookie policies, invasive data collection and corporations doing corporate stuff make the web annoying, difficult and unsave to use for humans. I think we need to differentiate between those.
Didn’t they choose art pieces which were protected by a glass window anyways? Getting so much attention with so little damage seems like a good move to be honest.
