Oddly enough, water can be considered a molecule (H2O), or an ion group (H+ and OH-). Once I got that through my skull, the whole acid/base mess got much clearer.

Dihydrogen monoxide isn’t a good name for water, especially in this context. Hydroxic acid or hydrogen hydroxide make much more sense.
Water only splits into O2 and H2 under electrolysis, not due to acid/base chemistry. You have to be actively adding electrons. In solution, it dissociates into ion states as protons H+ and hydroxide OH-.

That seems to be the race we’re in. Discovering as much it before we destroy it and the environment they and we depend on for survival.

Biden’s been doing a lot of good work for labor and the unions. I don’t think he’s really even started campaigning yet for 2024. Really wouldn’t be surprised to see him come out with a list of actual working class accomplishments and sweep the electoral college in a way that republicans aren’t even prepared to answer.

Most folks aren’t really tuned into half his actually delivered wins. If they play these cards right, Biden could show up with a flush and blind side the competition.

Ukraine is keeping Russia in check with cardboard launched grenades. It’s pretty amazing, honestly; both how innovative Ukraine has been under duress with almost nothing, and how bad Russia has performed in this mess they’ve dumped themselves in.

A few too many toes over NATO lines would decapitate the Kremlin, probably before anything could be done in response.

Hopefully this guy contributes to that process. Trump’s insurrection should be disqualifying him from the ballot, meaning R votes, wherever he can be successfully removed from running, should be split between two losers: DeSantis and this guy. This is all beneficial to the best outcome under current circumstances.

I shared the article as I know next to nothing about this guy and found it to be a good explainer. Relatively brief and easy to follow. Newsom may in fact have his eye on 2028, but for him this debate is personal. He wants to embarrass DeSantis publicly. All reports indicated those migrants were in bad shape and Newsom, if I remember correctly, ended up personally involved in helping them get sorted.

Honestly, my first thoughts were that reddit had probably funded some blackhats to sabotage shit because they’re still salty. Then, they could have it reported.
