The risk is when it happens unintentionally. The language is bad for hiding such errors by being overly ‘helpful’ in assuming intent.
I used to use last.fm religiously. I still love being able to go back and look at what I was listening to, or when I discovered something I still love.
I eventually got too lazy to keep all my listening sources scrobbled, but I miss it.
Dart’s single purpose was supposed to be a JS successor for browsers.
I can understand trepidation about committing to a sibling of Google Reader, but I’m also glad Dart is getting a second shake. It’s very much a general-purpose language.
I personally enjoy writing Dart a lot more than Go. It really added to my experience learning and working with Flutter.
