I got an Amazon parcel today with my name and address, but I did not place the order. It had a $20 Shrek picture storybook in it. I’m going to assume it’s a joke birthday present from one of my silly friends, but a tiny part of me wonders if it’s someone from my past trying to call me an ogre. Either way, how bizarre.

There is a scam where they use your address and a different name to deliver very small items and then send a huge expensive thing once the address is ‘validated’

Boyo once received a pack of toothbrushes from Amazon that no one had ordered, but apparently it’s a scam, but not to the receiver but a way for the sender to get themselves fake reviews for “legit” sending of a “purchase”. I’m sure there’s a better way to explain that.

Oddest thing was that boyo had had dental surgery 2 days beforehand.
