You want to stop the toxicity? Call out the person going around calling other people “sweetie,” which is a gendered put-down. Criticizing me without calling them out is hypocritical, at best.
I actually deconstructed the other guy’s post at least three times, by my count, but fair point. I don’t mean to single you out. Everybody acting that way in the thread needs to stop and act civilly. In no way were my words an attack on you personally.
But I hope you see that “deconstructing” their post is a far cry from attacking my tone. One is taking it seriously and addressing the points. The other is tone policing, which is very bad form.
Especially since I was only using the term I did to point out their slur against my gender that was levied to discount and ignore my very valid perspective.
