Would there be any benefit from seeking a similar partnership with the CIRA? The organization’s interests seem aligned with what this instance is trying to do (Canadian run, open internet that’s free from corporate interests etc.)

Oh, I don’t know.
I don’t think Lemmy has implemented Federation with Mastadon yet. However, Mastadon has implemented Federation with Lemmy. So, it’s a one way street so far.

I see the odd comment here that is from Mastodon so I know there is some cross posting that happens but I’d like to follow people on Mastodon and have all on the same feed on connect if that makes sense. Is it possible?
