I am loving this project so far but I am really keen on the next update where the app crashing problem while clicking on “browse all comments” is fixed.
I am assuming the developer is preparing the app for a Beta release hence the lengthier time.
I was quite busy in the first half of the week, so I couldn’t implement the features I wanted for the next update.
I think I should release patches a bit more often to tackle these critical bugs.
I’m also thinking about setting up an F-Droid repo for nightly builds, so people can try new features before they are officially released.
Sounds good. Thank you for the news
I’m also thinking about setting up an F-Droid repo for nightly builds, so people can try new features before they are officially released.
Would these nightly builds also be released on the same Codeberg repo as the main builds?
No. They will be different. Basically, there will be builds everyday from the current state of the master branch that people can download with F-Droid (or manually).
It’s a way for me and other people to test features before they are “officially” released (the ones in the Codeberg releases page).
We should be patient. Maybe the developer is busy and hasn’t had much free time to work on this. In any case we should be patient and help out the dev with code or with donations which will help with the costs of hosting (I think this is the right word) the app.
While waiting for new releases, you can improve the app with translations or reporting bugs
https://translate.codeberg.org/projects/infinity-for-lemmy/app/
Or if you know how to code, pull requests are always an option
That’s so cool! When did Codeberg integrate a translation service?
You can follow @bazsalanszky@lemmy.toldi.eu’s work underway on the Codeberg: https://codeberg.org/Bazsalanszky/Infinity-For-Lemmy/commits/branch/master
I already do follow and have actually reported many bugs
Great! I tagged them in my comment here so they can see your post but I’d imagine they’re busy coding away.
I’m also waiting. Hope it comes soon, right now I have 3 apps this, voyager and liftoff. Thunder is awaiting installation if they add the hide post option.
Hiding read posts is in the latest Thunder alpha.
Oh wow, yes!
