Uncapping the House would go a long way towards rebalancing.
I think that depends on how popular the nominees are, no?
What would happen if he just left the spot open? Or left it open until they picked someone suitable?
You are a data point. However, I can probably guarantee you that people do not appreciate your approach to calls. If you’re in the US, at least.
Given your grumpy retort to my anecdote about my preference, I’m going to wonder about your warmth.
Cold calls are rude. My 76 year old mom will not cold call because she understands convention.
Hardline phones had no way to ensure the timing of a call was considerate. Tech has moved on, and coordination is trivially easy. It is, in my opinion, rude to call or a sign of significant import.
If my mom calls without texting, it’s an accident or imprtant/urgent.
Yall would not have; negative form of y’all’d’ve.
'd = would n’t = not 've = have
If y’all’dn’t’ve upvoted this thread, I might not have seen it.
Also: cool to see the word grok.
“Y’all” is plural “you” (at this point).
“All y’all” is an enhancer and clarification meaning, “every one addressed.”
It is, also, based (and fun).
Y’all’dn’t’ve is just next level stuff.
Hold out your hands with the backs facing you, have your thumb at a 90° angle to your index finger. The hand that forms a capital “L” is the left hand.
For anyone not sure about right and left, left is almost always the right way to move.

Yeah. Now it’s not as cool. 😕
As long as the enemy doesn’t have an equivalent, this sounds pretty cool.
Otherwise… oof.
It would still have hit the instance.
It would be a political non-starter for any California Governor to indicate the immigrants are unwelcome.
Sue for costs, maybe? But we (California) keep describing migrants as net positives to our economy, so it would undercut messaging.
It’s a network of social media, all using the same protocols, and each tends to have some focus: Canada, Australia, art, communism, and large numbers of members, for example.
I didn’t find federated social media to he hard to understand after the first hour or so. Is that weird?
“25¢” in sharpie.
I’d quickly be tempted to adopt a personal conviction requiring medium rare sirloin, loaded baked potatoes, whiskey/cokes and similar fare. If there’s no economy of scale, that’s not my issue. Respect my religion. It’s very specific.
Warshington is what happens when you do integration.
Same with Chicargo, I think.
I think you’re supposed to take the third derivative and plot that on a y(naut) axis.
His uninformed voters buy it.
It’s that simple. That and Trump is used to bullying.
