I’ve had lost of issues with SteamVR too but not with anything else. I suspect those issues are actually SteamVR’s fault tho because it’s pretty buggy on Linux in general.
So they literally have to pay people to use bing?
You should tip at least 200%. Less is just selfish.
Ublock Origin has filter lists to just block cookie banners. They’re not allowed to use tracking cookies if you don’t click accept.
And you know that how?
I don’t think it’s that important who makes the messenger. Most people outside the US use messengers like WhatsApp anyway.
They can see what IPs you connect to, doesn’t matter what browser you use or if the connection is made from a browser at all
Check how much RAM you’re actually using when you use firefox. If you’re not using all your RAM then adding more won’t make a difference.
Installing an adblocker like uBlock Origin improves performance but aside from that I don’t think there’s a lot you can do
Waydroid already works really well, it’s just small things like notification support that are missing
Waydroid could fix that gap tho, the same way Wine/Proton does on the desktop
So is Firefox, which is open source
I really don’t get why they want to push snaps so much. Flatpak does basically the same thing but better and is already used by more people. Their efforts would be better spent improving that. It’s also weird that the server side of snaps is proprietary, I can’t help but think that they may have intentions with that, that go against what the users want.
Wouldn’t recommend Manjaro, if you install anything from the AUR, there’s a good chance your system will just refuse to boot after an update someday (speaking from personal experince btw). I’d go with EndeavourOS instead, which is also arch based and makes the install super easy.
Manjaro because in the few months I’ve used it, it happened twice that my system didn’t boot anymore after I updated it. The second time I didn’t reinstall but installed EndeavourOS instead. Been using that for like 2 years and never had that issue again.
Might be worse for the battery because of increased heat but idk
I use Kvæsitso. I like that it’s more search focused and has a clean homescreen with just the clock and a search bar. You can scroll up to see widgets arranged vertically or scroll up to show the app drawer. It also looks nice because it supports the new Android design (Material v3) and dynamic colors. It also supports dynamically colored app icons like lawnicons and has an option to color all other icons as well.
I was actually searching for a theme like this just a few minutes ago but didn’t find anything, so thanks for sharing. Does this use the GTK 4/Libadwaita style?
I prefer LibreTube because it doesn’t look outdated and it uses Piped, so you never actually connect to the YouTube servers and you can synchronize your subscriptions and playlists
