Throwing my two-cents into the discussion, I tend to dislike walled/gardens on principle. Putting information behind account walls is detrimental to the principles of an open and democratic internet. So long as there are reasonable ways to limit bad actors, I would prefer we remain discoverable to the open internet.

Never once had a driver issue on Mint. Literally did an entire rebuild (mobo, cpu, gpu, the works). Switched it on, everything worked perfectly, no OS reinstall or driver hunting.

Any issues I’ve heard about, the main culprit is nvidia cause of proprietary crap. Move to AMD graphics and it’s literally plug and play.

It’s a modern bethesda title. Not to be pessimistic, but you should probably lower expectations for it. It has a high chance to be 1. Buggy. 2. Shallow and derivative in both mechanics and story. 3. Full of DLC and shady monetary models. Bethesda succumbed to corporate greed and formulaic design principles a long time ago.
