I mean I’m a bukele critic and have been since he was still popular, but I live in Guatemala right next to el salvador and have lots of friends there and there’s been a definite, noticable drop in crime. Most Salvadorians like Bukele. I don’t think it’s sustainable and don’t think it justifies his other actions but acting like he’s done nothing is not a valid stance to take.

Yeah I unfortunately have celiac along with many people in my family and have never heard of it causing an immediately life threatening reaction. Pain, embarrassment, mental issues, long term mortality, a whole slew of problems but not “I’m going to immediately die”.

Paperwork and accounting are the absolute worst. Like, it feels like it was specifically designed to be torture.

I hate most Starbucks drinks but I gotta say the Java chip frappuccino really hits all three for me. I rarely ever drink them but every now and then it’s like, I need the Holy Trinity of beverages.
